***IMPORTANT THINGS!***
Please RSVP for our Night of the Stars recital on May 7th at 7:00. Formal, fancy dress. It doesn't have to be concert black.
Summer Lessons - I will only be teaching for the month of June. I have been asked to perform and participate in the InterHarmony Music Festival in Italy the first two weeks of July. I would love to keep my pianists' skills up as much as possible, so please consider doing lessons. We can even do more than one a week. More info to come next month.
I was accepted into the Piano Performance Pedagogy Master's degree program at ASU for this upcoming fall semester. This is a degree that focuses on both teaching and performance, so I am excited to be able to implement what I will be learning at school with my pianists. I am unsure how this is going to affect my schedule for next year, however, I WILL NOT be taking any new students as of now. Registration for next year will be due by July 15th for my current students; I will send out the Google forms in June so you'll have plenty of time to fill them out. If you're not planning on lessons for next year, please let me know as soon as possible.
Lastly, there will be some changes to my studio and my curriculum for next year. I will include those changes in my studio policies that you will receive with the Google forms in June. Please read through them thoroughly. I WILL NOT be increasing my tuition rates next year, however, I cannot offer the discounted registration fee if your pianist takes summer lessons, as I did last year. The cost of everything has increased. I am ok to skimp on some things, but not the books and materials. The registration fee covers all of the books and materials for the new year, including replacement items that have been lost or destroyed through the course of the year.
Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns!
