Monthly Student Studio Classes

Once a month, my students come together for peer performances and feedback. We also discuss the month's listening assignment and Composer of the Month. I also use this opportunity to sneak in a little extra instruction through games in the group setting.

Incentive Programs, Studio Contests, and Awards

My students are encouraged to be goal driven. We set goals weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. To motivate my students to achieve their goals, they participate in various studio programs and contests.

Master Classes and Workshops

As a music teacher, I have continued my education through classes, reading, seminars, and anything else I can find. However, I am not able to be an expert in everything. So, each semester I invite someone who is an expert in their field to put on a master class or workshop for my students. These have proven to be extremely successful and fun for my students.
