The Salonnieres concert. I literally have no words. That was probably the best one I've been to yet. My favorite piece of the evening was Of Ghosts and Angles, composed by Jenny Rhodes using the texts from poems of the American Poetesses Emily Dickinson, Sara Teasdale, and Eliza Snow as her inspiration. I cried like a baby during the last movement of that piece!! Holy cow!! The words of the poems and how Jamie Alston sang them was so moving and emotional, but then they added in the forlorn sounds of the violin and piano and I could feel it in my heart. I wish I could hear it again! I also very, very much liked the piano duet, Night on Bald Mountain, performed my Karali Hunter and Juliana Witt. Their hands were like crazy maniacs on those keys! It looked like sometimes their four hands were fighting over the keys! It was insanity!
